Sarah and Amanda
Sarah Sullins Weddings welcomed Amanda onboard last year, and it has been incredible getting to work alongside my bestie! Amanda brings all the fun; to know her is to love her! Scroll to learn more about each of us!

Sarah
Hi friends!
I'm the Owner and Lead Planner of Sarah Sullins Weddings & Events. I started this business officially in 2018 after a magazine publication and a lot of urging from vendor friends and family. However, I've been planning weddings since 2012 and have been managing chaos my entire life. I was the first born in my family with 9 younger siblings; my mother's right hand! (Where all my first born daughters at?!) I firmly believe my upbringing prepared me for my life as a Wedding Planner. There's not much that ruffles my feathers! My background is in Education. I graduated from college in 2013 with a B.S. in Secondary Social Sciences to teach middle and high school history. The Lord most certainly had other plans for me, though. As hard as I resisted at first, the Lord has shown me time and time again that serving Brides and their precious families is exactly what I'm supposed to be doing. I've built my business around joy...celebrating and focusing on your joy, bringing joy to the planning process (it is supposed to be fun!), and by striving to bring joy to every conversation and interaction we have. My mother always wrote "Sarah = Joy" at the bottom of every one of my birthday cards. And since she was my biggest cheerleader in going for this amazing career, I've tried everyday to keep joy at the center of it all. My mama passed in 2023 and her last text message to me was "Best Wedding Planner Ever, starting with your own" and she sent one of my wedding photos. And those final words of hers have been fueling this passion of mine even stronger ever since. And as long as I have this business of mine, I will be trying my hardest to be the Best Wedding Planner ever for you...
and for her.
Warmly and Joyfully,
Sarah

Family
I've been married to my amazing husband, Brian, since 2013. He is an incredible man that I absolutely could not do what I do without. We have 2 beautiful children, Elizabeth (9), and our rainbow baby boy Brittain (3). They keep me busy and on my toes. While I love my amazing job, my children and husband are what I'm most proud of in this life.

Favs
Dr. Pepper and Coffee (basically my blood type at this point, not proud of that)
Dark Chocolate
Gilmore Girls (high school Rory, was me 100%, and Emily Gilmore will always be my fav character)
The Beach
A Good Pedicure and Massages

Fun Facts
I'm a Type 9w1 on the Enneagram. Total Peacemaker...hate conflict.
Introverted by Nature and extremely soft spoken but there's a teacher voice down in there when needed.
Originally from Texas, but have officially lived in Alabama longer now.
Was a ballerina growing up, another life's passion.
Amanda
Amanda has been assisting me with weddings since 2022, but we decided last year that she was more than ready to come on as my Associate Coordinator. Amanda serves our clients with her whole heart and I couldn't love her more for that. She is the most helpful, servant-hearted person I know. Not only is she all of those things, she has a great eye for design and symmetry and knows just how to add in little details to really make an event stand out. She is a baby whisperer, (no fear about restless flower girls or ring bearers, if Amanda is there!), such a hard worker, the most extroverted people person you'll ever meet, and so often the other half of my brain on wedding days! She is so talented and I'm so glad she is a part of my business!
From Amanda:
I'm honored to serve as the assistant to Sarah here at Sarah Sullins Weddings & Events ! For the past two years I've had the joy of working behind the scenes to help turn dreams into beautifully orchestrated wedding days. There's truly nothing like seeing all the pieces come together and watching a couple experience the day they've always imagined. I specialize in day-of coordination, decor setup, and truthfully anything else that needs to get done with a smile and a checklist in hand! I'm known for being organized , enthusiastic, and the kind of person who doesn't meet a stranger. Whether I'm calming nerves, lighting candles, or keeping the timeline on track , I'm all in for our couples from start to finish. Faith, family, and a well made game plan are a the heart of all that I do. It's a blessing to walk alongside couples as they step into forever, and I can't wait to be part of your special day!

Family
Outside of weddings I'm a Christ follower, and a proud wife to my husband, Jacob. We have three amazing kids (Luke, Mason, and Maddie) who keep us constantly on the go. If I'm not at a wedding or teaching, you'll likely find me cheering at the baseball fields, clapping from the gymnastic stands, or volunteering at our church or my kids' schools. I love to stay busy and pour into the things (and people!) that matter most.

Favs
I'm not a coffee girl (shocking, I know), but give me a cute cup with an ice cold Sprite and some table side guac and chips, and I'm in my happy place. I love throwing over-the-top birthday parties for my kids. Reese's are my weakness, music plays all day, and if there's a beach involved-I'm already packing. Life is full and fast, but I truly believe joy is found in the little things.

Fun Facts
I was a cheerleader and participated in Show Choir in high school.
I teach K4 at our church's Preschool.
Shopping and Spending money...my cardio!
I'm known for making everything "extra" and for saying "Yes" to everything, but Sarah has me working on learning to embrace the word "No" sometimes.
