Hi Friends! Sarah, here!

I decided to officially launch my business in October of 2018, but I’ve been involved in planning weddings in one way or another since 2012, and obsessed with weddings long before that! I was that little girl sketching wedding dresses and cakes on the side of my notes in school.

Although I’ve always loved planning and weddings it took me awhile before landing here for my career. My background is actually in education. I graduated in 2013 with my B.S. in Secondary Social  Sciences, to teach middle and high school history and social studies. I worked in the schools throughout college and although enjoyed my various jobs, I just knew my heart belonged somewhere else. I never could really sink my teeth into teaching like I could when I was planning parties or even VBS for my church. My heart belonged to planning events of some kind.

I fell in love with planning weddings specifically when I planned my own wedding! When it was over I was beyond depressed...not the typical post wedding blues...like I felt completely lost! I just didn’t want the planning to end! So, after some encouragement from a wedding photographer and florist to go for it, then planning several other weddings of friends and family, with one from 2018 being published in Alabama Weddings Magazine, I opened for business officially! And it is the best feeling ever!

When I'm not dreaming about and working on weddings you can find me hanging out with my mini, Elizabeth who is 4 years old , browsing Target for no good reason,  eating chocolate like it's my job, and in the evenings watching The Office and Gilmore Girls on repeat with my amazing husband, Brian.
